Watch one of our very own projects in action

Tune in to Channel 4 tomorrow, Friday 10 June at 7.25pm!

Unreported World uncovers Indonesia ’s battle to protect wildlife against deforestation and trading, following the plight of the country’s orangutans and turtles.

The programme will be featuring Hardi and the COP team as they travel vast distances across Borneo in the ‘Ape Crusader’ vehicle as they rescue orphan orangutans and bring them to safety.

Thanks to all of the kind donations from our supporters, the Appeal is proud to fully sponsor the ‘Ape Crusader’ and the team that run it, as it provides COP with the much-needed resources to carry out their crucial life-saving work.

Newsflash - Michelle has been released

We have just been notified that Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre Management have released our adoptive baby Michelle into the Kabili Reserve surrounding the Rehabilitation Centre.

Release decisions / timings are not decided by the Appeal but Michelle, at approximately 4 years of age, is a feisty individual and has made good progress. Due to her very young age the Appeal is using one of our experienced research assistants - Victor – to keep a close eye on her movements and monitor her for her safety.

We will do our very best to keep everyone informed on her progress.
