Captain Tom 100

Captain Tom Co branded

30th April to 3rd May 2021

Last year Captain Sir Tom Moore made headlines across the world when he raised nearly £38.9 million for NHS charities by walking 100 laps of his garden.

His simple message of hope – “Tomorrow will be a good day” – inspired millions around the world and brought comfort and joy to so many during the pandemic.

Friday 30th April would have been his 101st birthday. To honour him and his amazing achievements, we are inviting you to take part in the Captain Tom 100 to raise money for Orangutan Appeal UK.

Your challenge can be anything you like based around the number 100.

For example you could:
- Run, walk, skip, cycle 100km
- Bake 100 cakes
- Do 100 sit-ups
- Score 100 goals
- Walk 100 steps
- Write a 100 word poem
