Scholarship Funding for Head Malaysian Veterinarian

Dr Sen At Cardiff University

OAUK is helped to provide scholarship funding for Dr. Sen Nathan, Assistant Director of Sabah Wildlife Department, Manager of the Wildlife Rescue Unit and Head Veterinarian. He was furthering his education by completing a PhD in Primate Conservation at Cardiff University in the UK. Expanding his expertise in this area will help him to further the amazing work which is already being done at Sepilok and in the state of Sabah.

Dr Sen has been instrumental to the relationship between OAUK and Sabah Wildlife Department over the years and has helped us to complete many of our projects in Borneo. He has been working alongside The Appeal since the very beginning. Since then our Chairlady Susan Sheward and Dr. Sen have achieved a lot together and really are a force to be reckoned with.

We believe that funding education in this way is important for furthering conservation efforts. We wish Dr.Sen all the best for completing his PhD and look forward to continuing our dynamic collaboration. Read more here

Providing education funding is just one of the many ways we are helping orangutan conservation. If you would like to support this and other projects that we run, you can donate to the charity by visiting our Donations Page. Thank you.
