Hampton School and Lady Eleanor Holles School
A successful visit to Sepilok and generous donation from their Adventure Society.
Hampton School and Lady Eleanor Holles School are long-term supporters, raising vital funds for our projects in Borneo, including Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre.
As part of their Adventure Society, teachers and sixth-form students travelled to Sepilok in July 2025 to learn about orangutan conservation and the protection of Borneo’s unique wildlife. Prior to their trip, they raised an incredible £2,360! Some of the students tackled a 15k Tough Mudder and one teacher even completed an ultra marathon.
The funds have gone towards eight walkie-talkies and six waterproof hiking backpacks - vital equipment for our team as they guide orangutans deep into the 43 km² reserve, teaching them to climb, forage and build nests in their natural habitat. Reliable communication is essential in the rainforest and waterproof gear ensures crucial equipment survives Borneo’s intense humidity and tropical downpours.
A huge thank you to Hampton School and Lady Eleanor Holles School for this generous donation and your continued support.
